After reading the neuroscience interior design book by Katarina Gospic I/We are updating our flat to create the best creative and calm space we can. We have cleaned out a lot of the things that we had and our flat is now looking cleaner and without so much stuff that creates havoc in the brain (too much input!). I have thrown out most plants that were overgrown or just were not coping with our lack of time to look after them. It’s now looking less crowded but I instead have flower pots that doesn’t match (not even in a shabby chic type of way) and plants that doesn’t inspire (I’m always looking for the odd or unique things that other people might not consider). So my next mission is to find new plants and flowerpots that will make me smile when walking past. I’ve found a few already. 😉

Namaste!
