Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakes. – Carl Jung

I try to get my children to think different, to never be too scared to try something new regardless if it’s relating to food (uhhh its green), new ways of learning math or finding new paths to walk. Today on our daily walk we took a path unknown (excitement was in the air!) and found a fantastic new playground which the kids loved (and I loved the scenery so win-win). Finding the courage to do something new is not something that is easy to do but really important both for quality of life (imagine all the fun things you miss if you never try something new!) but also for the brain which creates new connections every time we try or learn something new. The walk was wonderful and the kids pleasantly surprised and the experience was celebrated with cake at the end (some days you have to live a little).
